    gt-15700 can not use compass , can tom3q fix it quickly ?

    1. Start your phone in recovery mode by 3 key combo (volume down + call accept + call hang up), not using "reboot to recovery" is very important.
    2. Do full binary tar backup of all partitions, also called "Samdroid Backup (for Odin)", and a standard tar backup of EFS. VERY IMPORTANT, makes returning back much easier
    3. Select "Install zip from sdcard" and then continue selecting "Toggle script asserts" until it displays "Script Asserts: Enabled" at the bottom.
    4. I can do this part-but <after that-he cant mount and find my sd card

    Apply flash_kernel_build74.zip.-after that installation-i cant get access to sd card-no errors in intalling build 74

    help me, after i have done flash_kernel_build74.zip, and "power off" but when i started your phone in recovery mode by 3 key combo (volume down + call accept + call hang up),i can not install any .zip file. i see some error like this:
    "CWM-base Recovery v5.0.2.7
    E: Can't mount / cache/ recovery/command
    E: can't open/cache/recovery/log
    E: Can't mount/cache/recovery/last_log."
    Please help me fix my phone, thanks so much!

    Please read the guide more thoroughly. It contains an information that such errors are normal and you should continue installing rebuild_ubi.zip.

    After Apply flash_kernel_build74.zip,
    I can not Apply rebuild_ubi.zip .It show me this:
    "E: Can't mount/sdcard/update.zip
    Installation aborted"

    What can i do now, Tom pleases give me your best recommend. many thanks!

    What is the rom used before flashing in CM7 ?

    Does you SD card contain just one FAT32 partition? If no, please repartition the card to have only one FAT32 partition or use another card just for the installation.
