    Default [Req] CM7 Theme Request...

Would any of the theme creating geniuses be able to take this theme here [LINK] and change it to red?

The app icons are unimportant as I use a third party icon pack, but the status bar icons, menu layout, notification bar etc... all the MAIN stuff, I would be extremely grateful if this could be done

There are a couple of ICS Red themes on there, but they're all HDPI if it's easier to pull the icons from that and resize them to MDPI, the red theme from the same dev is here [LINK]

    Thanks in advance

    Much appreciated!!

Hmm..a bit too dark though..if they could make it lighter / brighter, then it would be awesome!

The red in that theme looks more like orange to me

I found a workaround for it anyway: I emailed the dev about it and he said this:

Download DPI Changer from the market, change the dpi to HDPI, reboot, apply the theme then change back to MDPI and reboot again...

Pain in the ass, but it worked - I assume that would work on any HDPI theme that we want to try on our lowly little screens? - trouble is, the theme has bugs so he's working on that now...

Anyhow, while I was fiddling, I tried changing the DPI to a custom value somewhere between MDPI and LDPI (LDPI makes things just that bit TOO small) I changed it to 140DPI (LDPI is 120 and MDPI is 160) and it makes the screen appear a little larger as it makes everything 20dpi smaller - status bar is a little narrower, switchpro buttons are a bit smaller, settings menu looks less crowded etc...

Try it out guys, it looks good (in my opinion anyway)

Fail - changing the DPI works to apply the theme... but the statusbar text/icons don't work properly, when the 'preparing sd card' notification pops up at boot, it doesn't go when it's finished, when you clear a text notification, it doesn't remove the icon, they all just pile up in the statusbar and create a multi-layered mish mash of icons and text

So my original question still stands, could someone port a red ICS theme for CM7 please?

    Thanks!!
