No idea, really. The hardware looks good and it shouldn't cause this. The memory is MobileDDR running at 266MHz/CL3 and the controller is a standard ARM PrimeCell, so nothing what could be messed by Samsung.

maybe our friends at samsung can help us? those who help us with the rest
Eclair + SamDroid turbo by antibyte, QBanin kernel, system -> ext2, data -> ext4 with /data/data ext2 loop

I have managed to increase AHB frequency to 166 MHz, switching CPU to asynchronous mode and increasing APB divisor to keep it at stock 66 MHz (and so prevent desynchronized timer clock). I'm still testing stability and power consumption of this configuration. Keep in mind that it can't be called a solution for the bus issue, rather a workaround.

    Some benchmarks:

Gosh, please disregard this. I missed the point that PCLK divider support only even ratios and in fact it was running with wrong timer clock. Fixed it by overclocking PCLK to 82,5 MHz, but the results aren't that good anymore.

    Code:
    / # /tmp/memspeed.static -c
    *** Memory Write Throughput (in MB/s) ***
method uncached write alloc cached cached + wa
    STRB 19.03 102.65 28.57 630.20
    STR 70.51 111.44 77.48 2369.88
    STM4 293.97 133.86 305.09 4252.59
    STM8 512.05 126.66 508.49 4248.94
    STRD 152.83 117.49^C
However the system still feels a bit smoother, maybe because of using asynchronous mode or the GPU overclocked to 166 MHz, as it uses HCLK for clocking.

looks good, Master Tom3q! How were you able to achieve this? maybe we could replicate this on the current Froyo kernels we have!

Please disregard original contents of my previous post. I edited it after I found my mistake.
