getting temperature increases running at 1400... question - was told that it's 0.5 per 133mhz... so shouldn't it be set at 1450?

i asked about the linpack because i wasn't getting too noticeable of increases in performance.

thanks OP for the hard work!

I did try this a while ago.
But without overvolting it just crashed.
And i have a bad feeling with pushing the
Voltage that far. The spica already can get pretty warm and not only the cpu has to handle the additional current, the voltage regulators and battery also get higher load.

Raising the voltage from 1350 to 1400 should not cause any trouble.

Anyway, did you only changed the values I have, or you managed to raise APLL clock too?
I'm afraid what it shows 1066MHz now, it's only 800MHz without APLL raising.

How about changing the steps? Like 1000-800-400-266-66? This way we would loose only 133 and have both 800 and 1000
I think that pushing the cpu to 1.4GHz is stupid, 1.2 or 1.1 seems more realistic to me (BUT, I cannot do it....).

Guybrush_T the french guy who overclock at 1066.0MHz hit 11.445 MFlops with linpack...

He made a cute kernel VirginisMOD.
