This may not be the best idea, but having seen many people saying that development for Spica stopped I had to take some action.
So here I am adding this announcement to let the people know that
I am developing a 3.0 kernel (continuation of my 2.6.38 tree)
It will be completely different from all the currently available ones, because it will not contain any original code made by Samsung. All the code will be heavily cleaned or even rewritten at all. The development is already in a very advanced stage, so the kernel should get finished in a near future.
For more information, see my github pages:

OK, thanks for your attention. This thread is informational only. I made in in the development/releases forum to avoid any unnecessary discussions and questions where the kernel will be finished. And yes, after I finish the kernel, I will get back to the OpenGL ES implementation (so called 3d driver).
EDIT: Next milestone achieved - Android booted successfully:
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Here's a video of CyanogenMod 7 bootup on my kernel (it starts booting around 0:16 since I'm using kexec to boot it):
Quadrant benchmark results added: http://forum.samdroid.net/f9/upcomin...00/#post170042
Stay tuned.
