neither of the options are working... system either stays as auto, or if it does convert to ext2, it doesn't boot:/

will try your first option. tried the second option twice already with clean reflashes starting from stock firmware and never worked... but the fact that my /system shows as auto (not rfs) pre-conversion a problem?

im on cm8.3 and trying to convert all to ext2 (i did a clean install with stock firmware and lk2.08 first). but new recovery fs check says that my system is auto. when i try to convert it to ext2, my phone gets stuck at boot logo. i tried converting it to rfs, and still stuck at boot logo. any suggestions?

just open cm update with zip and Add aps to /system/app : ) or maybe you want to add apps to /data/app?
