I have installed again 2.1 and and I can confirm that those files in /sys and /proc are there.

I've been doing some research about the bluetooth connection with carkit.

I took logcats from eclair and froyo, doing the same procedure. This is: reset logcat, wait a couple of minutes for the phone to sleep, turn on parrot, wait another couple of minutes and try to make a call.
It seems to be a huge difference between both logcats. Actually, 2.1's is around 2140 lines long, while 2.2's is only 600.

Also, in 2.1's logcat there is this btld you talked about, and a few others, like BTL-IFS-WRAPPER, which is not on 2.2

Also, in both version's init.rc, there are a few lines talking about files like /sys/module/bluetooth_power/parameters/power, which I haven't found in my 2.2 version (haven't check in 2.1 yet).

Another interesting thing I've noticed is that if the phone is connected via usb (for instance, to a laptop) it works fine, even though it is in sleep mode.

If you think that the logcats might help you, or want me to test something or whatever, just let me know.
