Hi Thanks for the info you provide. My phone (with Leshak's Kitchen 2 ROM) has been unstable and recently crashed completely (I can get to recovery though). I want to update it with a newer stable (!!!) ROM, so am looking at your instructions. But in your link to the SpicaGenMod download there is a post referring to a SpicaGenMod kitchen. Can I just use that instead of going through all the steps you suggest?
wow sounds easy.but last time when i paritioned my already partitioned sd(this time with swap) system was not booted after that littile vibration boot logo was still moving.i removed battery reaplied sgm then it was fine.so while changing sd no need to worry about filesystems being on ext2? system,data,cache now are on ext2 will they get affected by new sd?
i am getting my old class 2sd replaced by new class 4 sd in very cheap price, so do i need some work for that or simply replace sd? changing sd affects filesystems being on ext2?how should i change my sd?now i have sgm b2.1 with all at ext2 and qbaninmod froyo
thx for reply.for me v18 is ok i dont get freez when just turning 3g on.opera mini works perfectly on hsdpa and i always use it.freez there on default browser and rarely on market.about my doubt, i asked darth lliamah he suggested wipe data(fact.reset)he also said to format ext2 partition.i have already filesystem to ext2.if i follow darth my file system will get affected?now about back up few months back when i made backup my recovery was having diffrent options anyway i did tar backup of data system and efs at that time.now today i checked recovery it has tar backup,backup for odin and image backup.so which to use?i backup apps using mybackup root fre app from market is it good?dartth said few apps dont wanna run on sgm and restarts is it there for u?sorry for long question please clear doubt of formatting ext2 partition and other doubts i said.thx again
nice to c u back yesterday I thing u had few troubles.friend I have few doubts.do u think sgm is better than cm?headed that few apps restarts on sgm also market problem.it is advised to have factory reset.so backup is must.few months back I backup at that time in recovery there were different options for backup ex.data system efs.now I am on cm8.3 yonip v18 my recovery seems different in backup it has different options like tar backup(was also there in old recovery), backup 4odin image backup.place guide how to make backup.also few suggested format ext22 how can I do that.thanks
